There is nothing quite like Blackwell Homecoming! The people and Alumni of Blackwell have for years and years celebrated Homecoming like no other community in Oklahoma. If you have never celebrated Homecoming in Blackwell before, you are in for a treat! Alumni literally travel from all over the world to attend this annual event.

Homecoming with the Foundation

The Blackwell Public School Foundation is an integral part of the Homecoming festivities each year. We encourage each Class to participate by becoming a Class Bell Ringer.

Chicken and Noodle Luncheon at the Kay Electric Kay Room

At 11:00 am, join us for our Chicken and Noodle luncheon at the Kay Room in the Kay Electric Building.

Tickets are $7.00 and can be purchased from Blackwell Public School Foundation board members, at the school central office, or at the door at the luncheon. Tickets will also be available during morning coffee.

Activities

The weekend of Blackwell Homecoming is full of activities for Alumni and their guests, extending from early Friday morning to Saturday evening.

  • Meet classmates for Coffee at the Blackwell High School Study Center
  • Hundreds attend Homecoming Luncheon at The Kay Room Sponsored by The Blackwell Public School Foundation
  • Assembly at the BHS Auditorium featuring the naming of Miss BHS and Maroon Spirit. Classes get to tell about their activities for the weekend
  • The Homecoming Parade through downtown Blackwell
    Blackwell High School Football
  • Class Activities Friday and Saturday Evening
